Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones (born September 25, 1969) is a Welsh actress, based predominantly in the United States. She began her career on stage at an early age. After starring in a number of UK and US television films and small roles in films, she came to prominence with roles in Hollywood movies such as The Phantom, The Mask of Zorro, and Entrapment in the late 1990s. She won an Academy Award, BAFTA Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for portraying Velma Kelly in the 2002 film adaptation of Chicago. Zeta-Jones is married to Michael Douglas, who is exactly 25 years older than she is. They have two children – Dylan (named after Dylan Thomas) and Carys. (more…)

Early life

Bell was born in London, England, the daughter of Mina, a personal assistant and nurse, and Peter Bell, an architect. Her mother was Iranian and her father English. Her parents divorced and she and her mother moved to Los Angeles, California when she was three years old. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States at the age of twelve.[citation needed] A self-described “geek”, Bell thrived in math and biology classes in school, and in junior high school once programmed a computer video game. Cate Blanchett

Catherine Élise “Cate” Blanchett (born May 14, 1969) is an Academy Award-winning Australian actress and stage director. She has won various other acting awards, most notably two SAGs and two BAFTAs, as well as the Volpi Cup at 64th Venice International Film Festival.

Blanchett came to international attention in the 1998 film Elizabeth, directed by Shekhar Kapur, in which she played Elizabeth I of England. She is also well known for her portrayals of the elf queen Galadriel in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Katharine Hepburn in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, a role which brought her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Cat Deeley

Catherine Elizabeth “Cat” Deeley (born 23 October 1976) is an English disc jockey, television presenter and former fashion model, who rose to fame at the age of 21, co-hosting the well-known children’s series SMTV Live, alongside Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, for also hosting Stars in their Eyes since 2004, and for hosting So You Think You Can Dance since its second series in 2006.

Early life

The elder of two children, born in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, Great Britain, United Kingdom, Deeley attended Grove Vale Infant School in Great Barr, Birmingham, followed by Dartmouth High School, where she played the clarinet in the Sandwell Youth Concert Band.
