    Gwyneth Kate Paltrow (born September 27, 1972) is an Academy Award-, Golden Globe- and double Screen Actors Guild Award-winning American actress. She is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

    Early life

    Paltrow was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Blythe Danner, an actress, and the late Bruce Paltrow, a film and television director, writer, and producer. Paltrow’s father was of Ashkenazi Russian Jewish descent and her mother was raised a Quaker; Raised in Santa Monica, she attended Crossroads School before moving and attending Spence School, a private girls’ school in New York City which was also attended by Emmy Rossum, Kerry Washington and Sally Pressman. Later she briefly studied art history at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before discontinuing her degree and committing herself to acting. Paltrow has a younger brother, Jake Paltrow, and is a cousin of actress Katherine Moennig, whose role include Jacqueline Pratt on Young Americans as well as Shane McCutcheon on The L Word. She is an “adopted daughter” of Talavera de la Reina (Spain), where at age 15 she spent a month as an exchange student and learned Spanish.     Gwen Stefani

    Gwen Renée Stefani (born October 3, 1969)  is an American recording artist and fashion designer. Stefani fronts the rock band No Doubt, whose 1995 album Tragic Kingdom propelled them to stardom, selling 16 million copies worldwide. It spawned the singles “Just a Girl”, “Spiderwebs”, and “Don’t Speak”. The band’s popularity went into decline with its fourth album, Return of Saturn (2000), but Rock Steady (2001) introduced reggae production into its music, and generally received positive reviews.

    Stefani recorded her first solo album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. in 2004. The album was primarily inspired by music of the 1980s, and emerged an international success with sales of over seven million. The album’s third single “Hollaback Girl” became the first U.S. digital download to sell one million copies. Stefani’s second solo album The Sweet Escape (2006) yielded “Wind It Up”, a moderate worldwide success, and “The Sweet Escape”. Including her work with No Doubt, Stefani has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. She won the World’s Best-Selling New Female Artist at the World Music Awards 2005.

    Stefani is known as a fashion trendsetter. In 2003, she debuted her clothing line L.A.M.B. and expanded her collection with the 2005 Harajuku Lovers line, drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and fashion. Stefani performs and makes public appearances with four back-up dancers known as the Harajuku Girls.     Grace Park

    Grace Park (born March 14, 1974) is an American-Canadian actress of Korean descent. She is best known as Sharon Valerii (and the various iterations of Number Eight, a humanoid Cylon) on Battlestar Galactica, as well as Shannon Ng in the Canadian television series teen soap Edgemont.

    Biography

    Born in Los Angeles, California, Park and her family moved to Canada when she was 22 months old. She was raised in the Vancouver neighborhood of Kerrisdale. Grace Park graduated from Magee Secondary in 1992, holds a degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia, and speaks English and Korean, along with some French and Cantonese. She is currently studying Spanish. As of 2005, Park lives in Vancouver with her husband, Korean real estate developer Phil Kim. She was named #93 in Maxim Online’s 2006 Hot 100 List. (more…)

    Gisele Bündchen was born in the Brazilian town of Três de Maio and grew up in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, to Vânia Nonnenmacher, a bank clerk pensioner, and Valdir Bündchen, a university teacher and writer. She has five sisters — Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela, Rafaela and her fraternal twin Patrícia, Gisele’s junior by five minutes.
