    Leah Remini (born June 15, 1970) is an American actress best known for her role as Carrie Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens.

    Biography

    Leah Remini was born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York. Her parents are Austria-born Vicki Marshall (a former high school principal and current LA restaurant owner) and Italian-American George Remini, owner of an asbestos company (not to be confused with the late Gambino crime family captain George Remini, who died in March 2007).

    Remini has an older sister, Nicole Remini (born 1969) who was her assistant on The King of Queens. She also has four half-sisters: Christina Remini (born 1969), Elizabeth Remini (born 1976), Stephanie Remini (born 1977), and Shannon Remini (born 1984).     Lauren Graham

    Lauren Helen Graham (born March 16, 1967) is an American actress best known for her starring role as Lorelai Gilmore on the long-running WB Network dramedy series Gilmore Girls.

    Biography

    Early life

    Graham, an Irish American, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of Donna Grant, a fashion buyer, and Lawrence Graham (Lauren is named after him), a candy industry lobbyist who was the former President for the chocolate and confection industry association. Her parents divorced when she was five, prompting Graham and her father to move to the Washington, D.C. area, where he became a congressional staffer. Graham traveled extensively with her father while growing up.

    Graham discovered acting while in elementary school and further honed her talent at Langley High School, where she took part in the drill team. Graham quickly took to acting in community theatre and other small productions. Graham graduated from Barnard College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. After moving to Texas in 1992, she earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting Performance from Southern Methodist University. (more…)

    Laura Prepon (born March 7, 1980) is an American actress, best known for her role as Donna Pinciotti on the 1998-2006 television series That ’70s Show.

    Early life

    Prepon was born and raised in Watchung, New Jersey, the youngest of four children in a family of Russian Jewish and Irish Catholic extraction.

    Career

    Prepon’s first acting job was a 1995 television commercial for MCI. In 1996 she studied drama with acting teacher Caroline Thomas at Thomas’ Total Theatre Lab. In September 1997, she premiered on a Levi Strauss-developed show called They Go On, an Internet-based soap opera. Prepon also worked as a model in Paris, Milan, and Brazil. (more…)

    Lara Flynn Boyle (born March 24, 1970) is an American actress.

    Biography

    Early life

    Boyle was born in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Sally Boyle, a clerical worker, assistant, and manager.Roman Catholic Irish descent, Boyle also has an Italian-American great-grandfather. She is named after a character in Boris Pasternak’s novel Although she is of mostly Dr. Zhivago. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois and Wisconsin.
